Orthodoxy

Eastern Orthodoxy is the majority religion in Greece, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Georgia and a number of smaller countries. It is also present in the UK today as it was in England prior to the Great Schism in the Church in 1054AD.

The Orthodox Church is also a significant minority religion in the Middle East. Oriental Orthodoxy is the majority religion in Ethiopia and Armenia, a large minority religion in Egypt, and contains significant groups of believers in southern and south-western Asia. (more)
